The project in Luoyang, Henan, produces 100,000 tons of light calcium carbonate (PCC) annually, along with 50,000 tons of active calcium and 30,000 tons of nano calcium.

[Project Location] Henan, China

[Production Scale] Annual output of 180,000 tons

Project Introduction

This project is based on the production process derived from the client's existing double-chamber lime kiln producing active lime. Limestone is calcined to produce calcium oxide and carbon dioxide. Calcium oxide is digested and purified, and then carbonated, activated, dehydrated, dried, sieved, ground, and packaged using purified carbon dioxide. The final product is a deep-processed fine product of light calcium carbonate. This product is mainly used in processing fields such as rubber, plastics, sealants, papermaking, coatings, paints, inks, wires, and cables.

Project Overview

Product Types: Light Calcium Carbonate, Active Calcium, Nano Calcium Carbonate

Production Capacity: 500 tons/day

Equipment Configuration: 1 calcination unit, 3 digestion machines, 3 drying units, 1 water supply system, and 3 environmental dust removal systems, among other main equipment.

Solution

The proposed solution for this project is based on the company's development needs for an annual output of 180,000 tons of calcium carbonate series products. It addresses the company's requirements for product quality, quantity, and fuel. Combining the existing active lime products produced in the plant, it is recommended to build a production line near the existing double-chamber lime kiln finished product warehouse with a daily output of 10 tons of light calcium carbonate, 50,000 tons of active calcium carbonate, and 30,000 tons of nano calcium. The process prioritizes the use of the lowest cost dry production line, while adopting a mature intermittent bubbling carbonation method. The selection of process equipment is based on the principles of advanced, practical, reliable, and economical. The design and manufacturing of the equipment mainly use domestically produced general-purpose equipment, striving to maximize the cost-effectiveness of the production facility.
